Give your kids a taste for scuba diving with
the Bubblemaker and PADI Seal Team programs
Finding fun activities that your family can enjoy together is easy now with the PADI Seal Team and Bubblemaker experience.
These two programs are designed for children who are eight or older. With a little help from PADI, you can give your kids a glimpse into the scuba diving lifestyle that you love so much and set them on the path to becoming a future scuba diver.
Children who participate in the PADI Bubblemaker and Seal Team
programs will develop new skills and have their eyes opened to
a whole new world.
With the Bubblemaker experience, kids will have the opportunity
to breathe underwater for the first time and friends and family
can be there to offer support and encouragement. Participants
will also learn how to use basic scuba gear in a safe and effective way, preparing them for future endeavors.
The PADI Seal Team program teaches the basics of diving such as mask clearing and will introduce them to important scuba related topics such as underwater photography and environmental awareness.
Scuba diving is not only a fun activity for kids to enjoy, but it also encourages an active lifestyle. Being physically active promotes healthy growth and development, provides opportunities for kids to meet new friends and develop their social skills, and can even help with self-esteem.

Which activity should I choose for my child's age?
Whether your child wants to try scuba diving, complete different underwater 'missions' or do their full diving qualification, Red Duck Diving offers the whole range of snorkelling and scuba diving activities to suit their interest.
Diving is accessible for those who are 8 years or older and snorkelling is from 6 years +, providing they are comfortable in a swimming pool.
PADI Bubblemaker (8 years +)
This is the child’s ‘try dive’. It is a great way for children to experience scuba diving in a pool in less than 2 metres of water.
PADI Seal Team (8 years +)
The PADI Seal Team is for young divers who are looking for action-packed fun in a pool by doing exciting scuba Aqua Missions. After completing their Bubblemaker, this is the perfect choice to keep young divers active. Depth for 8 - 9 year olds is 2m maximum on Aquamission 1, after Aquamissions 1, depth is limited to 4m.
PADI Discover Scuba Diving (10 years +)
This is the same as the regular PADI Dicover Scuba Diving experience and during this session your depth is limited to maximum 12m
PADI Junior Open Water Diver course (10 years +)
At 10 years old, you can enroll in the PADI Open Water Diver course. This is the same as the regular PADI Open Water course but whilst you're 10 - 11 yrs, your depth is limited to maximum 12m and after certification you must dive with a parent/guardian or PADI professional. When you're 12 - 14 yrs, your maximum depth is 18m (21m for continuing education) and you must dive with a certified adult diver. Once you reach 15yrs, your qualification will automatically upgrade to the full adult certification.
